Warranty Terms & Conditions All Real Deal Computers Systems carry a Parts and Labour Return-to-Base warranty. This includes the System Unit (case + contents) 12 Months unless otherwise specified, Keyboard & Mouse 3 months unless otherwise specified. DVD-ROM/CD-RW Drives, Speakers, Printers, Monitors, Scanners and other external devices carry a 12 Months Manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise specified. Freight All products carry a Seven (7) Day DOA warranty from date of purchase. Any product that fails within this period will be replaced with a new product. Real Deal Computer Services will pay return freight (Metro Brisbane only) on all products that fail within the DOA period. If a product fails outside the DOA period, all freight charges are the responsibility of the customer. Parts No system specific support is offered for parts-only purchases, this includes hardware driver problems, software driver problems, Operating System specific problems, Software problems, BIOS settings (including flash BIOS upgrades) and incompatibility with existing hardware. All components carry a Seven (7) Day DOA warranty from date of purchase. Within this period, any hardware that fails will be replaced with a new product. After the DOA period, all products will be tested, and a replacement sought from the equipment manufacturer if necessary. We would be more than happy to test (for hardware problems) any component purchased from us that is not working. If a product is returned for testing and is found to be faulty, it will be replaced as per our standard parts warranty. If the product is not found to be faulty, a charge of $25 per component will apply for labour. Certain products are warranted by the original manufacturer. Please refer to the documentation that comes with your purchase to find out if this is the case. Systems We do not warrant the following with our systems: - User error
- Incorrectly configured software drivers
- Incorrectly configured BIOS settings
- Unsuccessful BIOS/Firmware Flash
- Incorrectly configured hardware drivers
- Physical Damage
- Application Errors
- Operating System problems not caused by hardware failure
All Systems that are returned under warranty conditions will be returned to the customer in the condition they were in at time of delivery. Please note that all due care will be taken to attempt to preserve data if requested, although this may not be possible. |
